Local Rules at Seal Shore Camping and Touring Site

If you find something not working or broken please report it to us immediately.

Day of departure please vacate the pitch by 12 noon.

  • Strictly No Gazebo's.
  • Strictly No Generators.
  • Any unruly behaviour, persons will be asked to leave.
  • No Smoking in the shower block or day room.
  • No cooking allowed in the day room.
  • No Stones to be brought onto the site.

Noise

  • Please keep noise to a reasonable level AT ALL TIMES.
  • Please keep noise to an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM between 10.00pm and 8am.
  • No noise allowed after 10pm i.e. radio/music

 

Dogs

We welcome dogs, but request that owners adhere to the following:

  • Do not exercise your dog on the site. There are many walks close by.
  • Collect and dispose of your dog's "deposits". We have a doggy bin to dispose of dog waste near the main bins.
  • Keep your dog on a lead at all times. do not let us have to tell you keep dog on lead
  • Do not leave your dog unattended.
  • Don't leave any uneaten dog food outside your tent as this encourages vermin.


Barbecues

  • Please ensure that your barbecue is at least 150mm above ground level, to prevent grass fires.
  • Barbecue stands are available at undercover BBQ area.
  • A dedicated covered area is available on request. 
  • Used disposable BBQ's to be left on ground next to bins, do not put them in the bins.

Fires

  • Fires are strictly prohibited on site.

Rubbish

  • Please help us to reduce, reuse and recyle rubbish. Please put glass, cans, plastic and paper in the Blue Bin. 
  • A doggy bin to dispose of dog waste near the main bins.
  • Used disposable BBQ's to be left on ground next to bins, do not put them in the bins.
  • Do not leave any rubbish outsite your tent as this entices birds to rummage and leave a mess.

 Refunds

Please be aware that we do not issue refunds in the event of cancellation.  We cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to adverse weather conditions/Ferry cancelations, for any other reason.  We cannot be held responsible for damage. We recommend you take out travel insurance.
